It’s always a joy filling in for Flap Jones a few times a year hosting Not Necessarily Nashville on Little Rock Public Radio’s KUAR-FM 89.1. There was a lot to talk about and play.

Tickets just went on sale for Hayes Carll who will play three consecutive nights at Little Rock’s White Water Tavern Monday, Nov. 9-Wednesday, Nov. 11. Los Lobos will be back in Arkansas on Sunday, Dec. 6 for a show at The Momentary in Bentonville. And after seeing BettySoo for the first time last month, I played one song from her latest album.
